日本とベトナムの国交樹立45周年を記念して製作された同作。死んだ母との唯一の思い出であるクジラの大ジャンプを再び見ようと沖縄に移住した木元愛美と、ベトナムから会社の研修で沖縄を訪れた青年グエン・コアの交流や恋愛模様を描いている。主人公・愛美役を演じるのは大野いと。幼い頃からクジラと一緒に泳ぐことを夢見るコア役を、スティーヴン・スピルバーグ監督作『レディ・プレイヤー1』のキャストに抜擢された森崎ウィンが演じる。監督は、同作が劇場長編デビュー作となる牧野裕二。 　　予告編では、愛美が友人たちとバースデーケーキを囲む姿や、愛美とコアが砂浜に座って海を眺めるシーン、コアが「僕は愛美さんが好きです」と告げる場面、涙を流す愛美の姿、「ブリーチ」と呼ばれるクジラのジャンプなどが映し出されている。 　　あわせて主題歌“Umbrella”を提供したシンガーソングライターReNのコメントも公開。ReNは楽曲の起用について「『もしも願いが一つだけ叶うなら 君とずっと一緒にいたい』というまっすぐな愛を伝えたく、書いた曲でした。そんな『Umbrella』が劇中やエンディングで流れ、より一層、愛美とコアの2人の愛を彩っていくのを見た時、書き下ろしのようにはまっていて、感動しました」と述べている。 　　映画は4月19日から開催される『島ぜんぶでおーきな祭 第10回沖縄国際映画祭』でワールドプレミア上映され、大野いとと森崎ウィンがレッドカーペットに登場予定。その後、5月12日から東京・渋谷シネパレスほか全国で公開される。
